Randall Eugene Hoyt currently teaches Communication Design at the University of Connecticut. Randall teaches a range of courses from entry-level design methodology to advanced web design. Randall's studio practice encompasses an eclectic blend of web design, fine bookmaking, Flash games and environmental sculpture projects for national and international clients including Alcoa, Mead Westvaco, American International Schools, American Institute of Architects and Yale University. Randall is currently an Advisory Board member of the International Digital Media and Arts Association in is the Design Editor for the organization’s Journal of Digital Media.
Randall received his MFA from the Yale School of Art Graphic Design Program in 2001. He will use his sabbatical leave in Fall 2008 to resume work on his MFA thesis Meta-Thesis, an exhaustive catalog of every Graphic Design thesis undertaken at Yale since the programs’ inception in 1950.
