Jonathan Pfeiffer attends the State University of New York at New Paltz and will graduate this spring with a BFA in graphic design. His design and writing on new identity strategies for sustainable brands was most recently published in That Is Not Natural, a collection of design work and essays about sustainable agriculture in late 2007. Pfeiffer, a freelance designer, is currently writing his thesis on historical and theoretical typography, and is immersed in the issues of hierarchy, interpretation and kinetics within continuous texts. His thesis research and working prototypes will be exhibited in both printed and interactive media at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art in May 2008.
